PMI | PMI-LA attends First In-Person Leadership Meeting since COVID

Member News

April 1 (no joke!) marks the opening session of PMI's first in-person Leadership event since the pandemic lockdowns!

PMI-Los Angeles sent 2 board members, Richard Martinson, VP of Technology, and Oliver Grant, VP of PMO & Administration to this in-person conference held in Orlando, Florida.  Even though it started at 6 am - PMI-LA also had online attendance by other members of your governing board.  PMI Board Chair, Jennifer Tharpe gave us some inspiration as PMI focuses on volunteerism and PMI 4.0 Strategy.  Highlights of this kick-off event are ...

PMI Impact - promise of hours to UN sustainable projects and in support of Ukraine

#PMIwhy - post on your Social Media of choice what it means to be a PMI Volunteer

Empowering People to Make Ideas a Reality - Chapter 4.0 Strategy

  • PMI has committed to helping chapters with new tools, new ways of communicating, and specialized projects designed to assist chapters
  • PMI is refreshing many of its back-end systems to newer, easier-to-use platforms

The virtual portion was strictly the opening session.  The remainder of this conference will be reported out by our 2 delegates when they return to Los Angeles.  Please reach out to a board member for any questions you may have about this conference and how you can be invited next year!
