In this interactive session, a speaker will be using elements from three of his books, The Collaboration Effect, Peaceful Resolutions, and The Servant Manager.  Brain science will be applied to enlighten participants on the steps necessary in order to explore and enhance opportunities to provide for better client outcomes.

The speaker will give participants one of the tools they need so that they can apply this technique immediately at work and in life and other helpful information.

As a result of the session participants will be able to:

  • Learn some elements from neuroscience
  • Explain the benefits of alternative dispute resolution and mediation in greater detail
  • Address concerns typically raised by clients
  • Collaborate more effectively with clients
  • Leave with some bonus items

Speaker: Mike Gregory

 gregory-mike-200x200.jpgMichael Gregory is a mediator, business consultant, author, and professional speaker. After 28 years from front business valuer to executive with 1,200 employees, Mike founded Michael Gregory Consulting, LLC in September 2011. This firm focuses on risk management issues, alternative dispute resolution emphasizing mediation and value-added services.

Between 2000 and today, Mike has conducted 800 mediations and facilitated or negotiated over 2,500 disputes. Mike has mediated up to $1 billion issues with Fortune 100 companies to small business issues in the tens of thousands of dollars. He has saved hundreds of millions of dollars for his clients. Mike has also mediated and led efforts to develop a labor management and Equal Employment and Opportunity dispute management system design. Using neuroscience and experience Mike mediates or assists teams with negotiations between business and government, business to business, and within businesses including boards of directors. He also mediates business valuation and business issues in divorce.

Michael Gregory is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), a Certified Valuation Analyst with the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), and a Qualified Mediator (Rule 114) with the Minnesota Supreme Court. Mike has also served on the Business Valuation Committee of the American Society of Appraisers and the Valuation Credentialing Board, and most recently as the chair of the Ethics and Oversight Board of NACVA. Mike is a reviewer for the Trust and Estates Journal Valuation Committee. Mike is also a board member of the Minnesota State Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution section.
Mike has a BS from Valparaiso University, a MS from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and an MBA from DePaul University.
