Keeping in Touch with NASA's Deep Space Network (DSN)

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory manages the Deep Space Network for NASA. The DSN provides tracking, telemetry, and command services to both US and international spacecraft beyond earth's orbit. Three complexes in Goldstone CA, Madrid Spain, and Canberra Australia track over 30 spacecraft 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. This talk will show how the DSN accomplishes its mission and some of the current spacecraft being tracked.
