PASADENA Virtual | Applying 2020 Lessons Learned to 2021 Float
2021 Self Built Float for La Canada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Association:
Applying 2020 Lessons Learned to the 2021 Float
Much of the ability to put a float on the road on Jan 1st, year after year, has to do with mulling over and applying the lessons learned from the previous year. Building and decorating a giant zeppelin crewed by a myriad of flightless birds - along with a battery-operated satellite flown by an ostrich - challenged both the construction and decoration teams! However, the challenge was enhanced by both learning new character-building techniques and trying an entirely new idea to decorate the main pod.
Join us in an evaluation of what went right, what went wrong, and what can be done better for the 2021 float, based on what happened during the 2020 parade and the current world biomedical and geopolitical environment.
