Toastmasters Club

The Outliers

Are you looking for a way to build your communication skills, and also validate those skills on your resume? As a member of our chapter in the friendly, supportive international Toastmasters organization you will enjoy learning and practicing your skills in impromptu and prepared speaking, listening and evaluation, and meeting management.

At our Toastmasters Chapter we are a diverse group, and we call ourselves the “Outliers”. We offer a comfortable way for you to learn from on-line lessons at toastmasters.org and we rotate assignments to practice each meeting role and your speech delivery at our meetings. We laugh together, we listen to each other, we clap, and we support our members to bring success within reach of everyone, no matter the level of experience and confidence. Individual Mentoring is also available.

Our group meetings are open to members and guests every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 6:30PM – 8:00PM Pacific time (we also meet on the 5th Thursday of months when the calendar includes a 5th week). To observe us in action be our guest at our next meeting. For more information about attending a Toastmasters meeting, please contact our VP of Education Tom Iland on 661-313-3323 or his e-mail address: tom@thomasiland.com. Speaking with confidence is our thing – makes it yours, too!
